V-Neck Cashmere Sweaters

White + Warren
“Formfitting but not too tight” is how one tester described this lightweight sweater. It is like having second skin. The open-weave knit is sweet, with a subtle texture. Available in four colors.

Pure by DKNY
Function meets high fashion in an avant garde pullover design with draping that “discreetly camouflages problem areas,” said one female tester. If you love the feel of cashmere but don’t want every bit of it touching your skin, this is for you. Available in three colors.

Mai
You can expect greatness from a brand that specializes in cashmere, this plush sweater has a springy weave and sturdy stitching. Plus, noted a tester, it’s “so comfortable, I want to sleep in it.” Available in 30 colors.

Crewneck Cashmere Sweaters

J.Crew
Argyle looks feminine when the fit is slim. One tester marveled at the “unbelievably supple” cashmere at such a manageable price. Don’t be shocked if handsome men want to rub your attire. Available in three colors.

Ann Taylor
Worn alone or layered with other clothing, this knit will carry you through three seasons with ease. “I’m tempted to fill my closet with these,” said a tester. Ann Taylor is renowned for quality and in this case, comfort. Available in seven colors.

I kicked off this project along with my fellow forumites at Wickedfire as a case study. We are learning how to run a successful blog with a seasonal focus. I chose the subject of cashmere because I am thrilled with the designer sweaters I got from Bluefly by A+dam, Harrison and Ted Baker. They feel great and look amazing; the striped sweater by A+dam especially. The web is indeed a great place to go shopping for quality clothing. I was concerned about everything fitting right in the past but found it becomes a non-issue when you’re buying the good stuff. Nice cashmere sweaters are designed to adapt to your body shape like a glove. I can pick myself out a large and not worry about it.

Over and out for now.
